TikTok Trust & Safety
Our Trust & Safety team's commitment is to keep our online community safe. We have invested heavily in human and machine-based moderation to remove harmful content quickly and often before it reaches our general community. As a product manager in our Trust & Safety team, you will work with teams of engineers, data scientists, operations, product policies and various relevant internal teams to build safety product features and strategies. You will be working on safety features, technical strategies to improve our trust and safety processes, as well as methods to detect and address the risky behaviors and actors in the community.

About the Team
The Minor Safety Product Team is a core pillar of the T&S team, bringing together the expertise of Product Managers and Program Managers into one group. Our mission is to protect minors on TikTok - and throughout the wider ecosystem - by building protections and education that help keep minors safe on our platform and participating in industry-wide strategies and development.

This role will lead the team responsible for creating and updating best-in-class protections against Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (CSEA), including developing machine learning models, implementing external solutions, working in partnership with our specialist CSEA review and investigations teams, and onboarding new features and product areas across the company into our CSEA protections. Note that this role may involve exposure to CSEA content and discussions of CSEA as part of the core responsibilities. We are looking for an experienced and mission-driven Product Manager to lead our strategy and execution in this critical area.

Responsibilities:
- Driving our CSEA product detection and protection strategy in order to protect minors from abuse, ensure the compliance and integrity of the platform, and support the reporting of abuse to the appropriate authorities.
- Deliver this strategy by setting ambitious but achievable goals, overseeing success metrics and developing a product roadmap and collaborating closely with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Driving execution of the roadmap and communicating progress and roadblocks to leadership.
- Participate in industry-associations to continue to develop our protections, for example in technical working groups within organizations like the Tech Coalition.
- Stay up-to-date on potential vectors for abuse and evolving protection needs, for e.g. Including protections specific to AI-generated CSEA.
- Facilitate implementation and reporting resulting from new regulatory requirements, for e.g. as part of the Digital Services Act.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or an equivalent;
- 5+ years of experience in product management;
- Proven track record of leading successful product initiatives in a fast-paced environment;
- Strong analytical ability to use data to drive product decisions;
- Strong communication skills with an ability to work effectively across broad teams and to influence stakeholders at all levels company wide.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience and expertise in trust and safety, fraud detection, identification, or related areas;
- Experience in project management with cross-function teams, across different time zones, cultures and languages;
- Some familiarity with tech protections against CSEA
