Description
SAIC is hiring a Mission Security Integration Engineer who will: Provide launch management and integration support to Government mission managers in all phases of planning and execution of satellite-to-launch vehicle integration for Government with focus on security operations of the mission.
Responsibilities include program plan development and maintenance, mission unique requirements identification, monitoring and verification, ECP incorporation to include change definition, technical evaluation, security working groups, classification management, program protection, launch operations planning and execution.
Specific Duties:
. Provides critical mission integration services to government Mission Manager executing the launch mission integration security process.
. Works on all aspects of launch from initial planning meetings through launch base operations and Day of Launch to ensure security concerns across the Space Vehicle and Launch Vehicle communities.
. Guides the direction of the Security Working Groups and participates in all mission working groups, to include mission integration, ground operations, flight operations, trailblazer planning/execution, and Day-of-Launch.
. Provides mission security services for mission program reviews, integrated schedule development/management, rehearsal support, and daily status reporting.
. Develops launch mission planning tasks and develops key security program documentation.
. Guides the development of all satellite to launch vehicle interface requirements with emphasis on security concerns.
. Reviews and provides evaluation of security concerns to key mission documents to include Interface Requirements Documents, (IRDs), Interface Control Documents (ICDs), and launch base requirements and procedures.
. Tracks all requirements verification documentation in execution of the launch campaign.
. Develops and reviews security assessments and presentations for senior leadership reviews.
. Develops, prepares, and delivers documentation and coordinates execution of all major Launch Readiness Reviews for the mission per security requirements to include: the Mission Readiness Review (MRR), the Mission Certification Review (MCR), and the Consent to Launch (CTL) Review
. Reviews and provides security evaluations to key mission contractual documentation.
. Prepares contractor statement of works (SOWs) and technical evaluation of contractor proposals regarding security efforts associated with mission integration.
. Perform all Program Security disciplines in support of Mission Integration including: personnel, physical, administrative security, and classification management, etc
Qualifications
Bachelor's and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years
or more experience ; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience.
Must be a US citizen with an active Top Secret/ SCI with Polygraph
Clearance required to remain on the program: Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph
5 years space launch experBience
3 years government acquisition experience
Security+ certification

. Expert knowledge of the mission security process, to include experience working classification management, DD Form 254, program protection planning, transportation and operation security, acquisition security, and NISPOM requirements.

. Attend and maintain appropriate security training to included Security Risk Analysis Course, Program Security Launch Course, Antiterrorism/Force Protection, Program Protection Acquisition Course.
