Purpose Statement

Controls the conversion of raw materials to batched liquid product with proper equipment setup and operation, while adhering to all food safety and food quality guidelines.

Key Accountabilities and Outcomes

  • Requisitions materials, operates all processing equipment, portions/scales ingredients, verifies process control points and product quality manager work in process and tank coordination, manages rework, cleans all equipment using COP and CIP systems, kosherizes equipment per Kosherization Procedures.
  • Must be able to work any areas of batching and complete the required applicable tasks, monitoring and understand set operating parameters. Responsible for basic troubleshooting of all processing equipment and trains new Associates as needed.
  • Maintains work area in a safe and orderly fashion according to GMP, 6S and Safety guidelines.
  • Assists Quality Assurance in obtaining samples of products. Operates Rich's SCADA, MLO, and Bowls Wonderware systems and completes appropriate paperwork.
  • Performs any other related miscellaneous duties assigned by Team Leader to include dry blending and reprocessing.

  • The physical capabilities an associate must have to perform the essential functions of the position are:
  • Moderate to high degree of physical activity
  • Continuous standing and frequent walking
  • Frequent stair/ladder climbing
  • Woks in wet environment
  • Works in high temperature environment
  • Works in high noise area
  • May handle potentially hazardous equipment or material
  • Requires frequent lifting - to not exceed 55 lbs
  • Must be willing to work any shift as needed
  • Overtime is required as necessary
  • Must be able to operate and gain forklift certification immediately
