The Information Technology Services department has an opening for a Mobile Device Management (MDM) Administrator. In this position you will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, and training of the MDM solutions. You will be interacting directly with City personnel with mobile devices, maintaining high levels of system availability and customer satisfaction.

Additional responsibilities include:
  • Develop and test provisioning processes for all mobile device platforms.
  • Provide detailed training and consultation to other IT support team members.
  • Analyze and track agency mobile device usage.
  • Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation.
  • Manage the Mobile device function including development of the service.
  • Advanced troubleshooting abilities to resolve issues.
  • Create and promote an environment of pro-active support and remote management, actively reducing incidents and problems.
  • Perform root cause analysis and remediating system issues.
  • Configure Device Management console settings.
  • Analyze system changes, providing consultation to customers.
  • Manage and add devices.
  • Manage subscriptions and Apple APN certificate renewals.
  • Manage and assign Role Based Access Controls (RBAC).
  • Perform other responsibilities as requested by leadership.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Knowledge of Apple and Android products.

SALARY

Pay Range: $86,590.40 to $121,825.60/annually.

Hiring Range: $86,590.40 to $110,510.40/annually.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Two years of professional level experience providing technical support for system infrastructure and/or software, plus one year working in a large-scale environment and supervising highly technical staff.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, math, electronic systems engineering or a related technical field.
  • Other combinations of experience and education that meet the minimum qualifications may be substituted

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

The minimum qualifications listed above, plus:
  • Five years of experience managing servers.
  • Two years of experience managing Mobile Device Management solutions.
  • Two years of experience working in cloud-based solutions.
