Model Validation Consultant - Enterprise Risk & Quantitative Advisory

As part of our growing Quantitative Solutions team, you will work with our clients, including some of the most iconic financial services companies globally, as they reshape Enterprise Risk and Quantitative services for the future.

We are seeking a Quantitative Solutions Consultant, who will perform model risk management projects, such as independent model validations, model audits, model reviews, model development projects, and various other model risk management consulting projects.

How you will contribute:

• Performing model validations by assessing the conceptual soundness and applicability of the mathematical/statistical theories, evaluating data inputs and assumptions, and testing model computational accuracy and performing outcomes analysis (such as back-testing and benchmarking)
• Performing model audits and model reviews, to assist the 3rd and 2nd line of defense, respectively
• Analytical models requiring effective challenge through validation, audit, or review may include BSA/AML, CECL, ALM, stress testing, scorecard, compliance/regulatory, pricing/valuation, regression, and economic capital models.

• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with particular attention to detail
• Highly effective verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications
• Ability to work both independently and in a team setting

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, statistics, or other quantitative fields
• Ability to read programming in languages such as R, or Python and database management such as SQL

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with data analysis, quantitative analysis, and data validation
