You will also have access to our comprehensive benefits and competitive pay in addition to growth opportunities and excellent retirement options.Job Summary:Our team supporting te Distributed Mission Operations Center (DMOC) at Kirtland AFB, NMis seeking a Modeling and Simulation Engineer / Communications Officer.The DMOC mission is to operate a synthetic training environment for interactive simulation across a distributed network.ResponsibilitiesJob Responsibilities:
- Designs and implements simulation solutions for company modeling applications.
- Analyzes test results to configure model parameters and materials.
- Identifies development problems and provides technical solutions backed by analysis.
- Develops product documentation for designs and test procedures.
- Generates and maintains diagrams for simulation hardware.
- Develops engineering calculation programs to support simulations.
- Performs work under minimal supervision.
- Handles complex issues and problems and refers only the most complex issues to higher-level staff.
- Leverages familiarity with military communications networks and working knowledge of Cyber Operations.
- This is an intermediate management position with 4 direct reports.
- Minimum 7 years related experience.
- Bachelors Degree from U.S. accredited institution.
- Must be familiar with military communications networks and have a working knowledge of Cyber Operations.
- Extensive knowledge of military communication systems to include DataLinks, multi-spectral communications, Dissimilar Interactive Simulation to voice transmissions, and Operations Order development with emphasis on the communications annex.
- Must be a U.S. citizen with active SECRET clearance and ability to obtain TOP SECRET with SCI Eligibility.
