An employer is looking for a Modeling and Simulation Engineer to sit in the Reston VA area onsite. This person will joining a collaborative team to help develop new and assist with assisting development within the simulation environment using AFSIM. The building of software is for Air Missiles, Sensors and lasers. Other responsibilities consist with identifying requirements for system implementation, ensure the best practices for the M&S applications, provide scripting techniques to produce modeled behaviors as well as help with documentation and analysis.

2+ years' experience developing with Python or object-oriented programming (c++, java )

1+ years working with AFSIM (Advanced Framework for Simulation Integration and Modeling)

Bachelor's Degree in related field- Software Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, EE etc
