Role Overview:

Are you passionate about financial empowerment and mental health? As a Money Management Specialist at Cascadia Health, you'll work directly with clients and their treatment teams to address money management issues within a trauma-informed care environment. Given the high prevalence of trauma among individuals receiving mental health services, it's essential to understand the effects of trauma on health, coping, and other aspects of our clients' lives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide Social Security payee-ship services for adult clients with severe and persistent mental illness.
  • Offer budgeting and financial skills training to help clients maintain their basic needs.
  • Monitor deposits into individual accounts and disburse money according to personalized plans.
  • Support clients with skills training to ensure they can effectively manage their finances.
  • Collaborate with treatment teams to provide comprehensive support to clients.
