OverviewWolverine is currently seeking Motor Vehicle Mechanic to support the Eagle LSS Contract in Fort Cavazos, TX. In general, the work of the Motor Vehicle Mechanic requires rounded training and experience usually acquired through a formal apprenticeship or equivalent.Responsibilities
  • Repairs, rebuilds, or overhauls major assemblies of internal combustion automobiles, buses, trucks or tractors.
  • Diagnoses the source of trouble and determines the extent of repairs required
  • Replaces worn or broken parts such as piston rings, bearings, or other engine parts; grinding and adjusting valves; rebuilding carburetors; overhauling transmissions
  • Repairs fuel injection, lighting, and ignition systems.

Qualifications
  • Two years of motor vehicle maintenance experience.
  • Knowledgeable in U.S. Army maintenance procedures and AR 750-1.
  • Ability to pass Pre-Employment Drug Test and Background Screening.
  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Ability to bring and use own tools.
  • Ability to receive a favorable Tier-1 Investigation result.
Desired Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of maintenance experience preferred.
  • US Army MOS 91/63 series qualification.
  • Experience on US Army tactical vehicles.
  • CDL preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License.
Pay and Benefits:
  • Hourly Compensation: $21.67.
Physical Demands:
  • Work environment includes periodic overtime, exposure to heat, dust, cold, and inclement weather conditions.
  • Physical requirements include (but are not limited to) the ability to lift 60 pounds, pushing, pulling, carrying, stooping, bending, squatting, and reaching.
