Rush University Medical Center, a nationally recognized clinical and academic institution and the teaching hospital for RUSH Medical and Nursing Colleges, located in downtown Chicago, invites applications for the position of Movement Disorders Clinical Faculty.

The Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorders Program at Rush University Medical Center, Chicago, is expanding its Movement Disorder Program. We are seeking an Assistant Professor to join twelve other full-time Movement Disorders specialists to join its program focused on Patient Care, Research and Education. Applicants should have a potential interest in one of the following: neuroimmunology, dystonia, genetics, cognition, neuropsychiatric issues, physiology, imaging, or basic science. Faculty rank will be commensurate with experience. This position will be predominantly clinically focused, with opportunities for research collaboration and educational initiatives.

Rush University holds several Centers of Excellence designations for Parkinson's disease, Progressive Supranuclear Palsy, Lewy Body Dementia, Tourette Syndrome, and Huntington disease and is the longest established movement disorder program in Chicagoland.

Qualified candidates must have completed a fellowship program and be Board Certified in Neurology. Candidates must possess a strong commitment to patient care, resident and fellow education, clinical medicine, and research. Candidates should be eligible for a faculty appointment at the Assistant Professor level or higher commensurate with their experience and accomplishments in Rush Medical College. This recruitment is part of a key strategic growth initiative at Rush University Medical Center. The Rush Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorders Program sees approximately 7500 adults and children per year, with all types of movement disorders. fellows, students, Psychiatry, and videography are integral parts of the program
