Description
As the MRI Technologist you will perform basic and complex MR imaging procedures as well as post-processing responsibilities. This will require an in-depth understanding of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology and medical terminology. You will be required to maintain a high degree of accuracy in patient positioning and image acquisition/formation. You will also need to apply your knowledge of magnetic field safety and properly screen all patients and visitors prior to admittance into the MR magnet room. You will: * • Ensure accurate processing of radiology orders * • Maintain accurate up-to-date records of procedures performed * • Operate a variety of post-processing/3D workstations * • Perform accurate image archival * • Prepare and administer paramagnetic contrast media * • Sensitively handle physical and emotional needs of the patient Salary Range: $48.28 - $63.65 Hourly
