Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced MRI Technologist. In this role, you will build strong relationships with patients and healthcare teams to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging. You will be responsible for conducting MRI scans, ensuring patient comfort and safety, and maintaining MRI equipment. This position requires expertise in patient care, technical operation of MRI equipment, and adherence to safety protocols to minimize risk and ensure optimal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
⢠Conduct patient screenings and assess patient histories for contraindications such as pacemakers or metal implants.
⢠Prepare and administer contrast dyes for MRI procedures as required.
⢠Provide comfort and reassurance to patients during the MRI process.
⢠Position patients and perform MRI scans in accordance with physician guidelines.
⢠Perform regular inspections and maintenance scheduling for MRI equipment.
⢠Ensure cleanliness and safety of MRI rooms.
⢠Train junior technologists and assist new staff.
⢠Maintain records, escalate issues, and follow quality assurance protocols.
Required Qualifications:
⢠MRI certification from an accredited program.
⢠Prior experience in MRI technology.
⢠Excellent communication and patient care skills.
⢠Attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
