Operates MRI imaging equipment in order to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes, under the supervision of the Radiologist, by performing the duties listed below:

Performs patient imaging and remains current with all MRI imaging procedures and protocols.Assists in training of staff MRI technologists in new techniques and procedures. Remains current in state of the art procedures and imaging techniques. Assists in coordinating all emergency equipment service, preventive maintenance and testing required by regulatory agencies with the Department of Clinical Engineering.Assists in the scheduling and coordination of work flow through the department. Assists in the coordination of scheduling functions in order to ensure appropriate staffing levels during variable demands for services.Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the core values of the Hospital.
