As a MuleSoft Architect, you will be responsible for engineering, architecting, and delivering world-class solutions for our customers, producing enterprise standard implementations leveraging the platform's full capabilities, and leading delivery teams to deliver high-quality solutions on MuleSoft.com. You will be responsible for delivering tailored solutions involving complex UX/UI, real-time and batch integrations, water-tight security, and custom automation.

At Cognizant's MuleSoft practice, we help our clients shape their digital transformation journey and design leading-edge Industry solutions using the power of MuleSoft. Our experts provide relevant expertise and experience within their domain combined with deep knowledge of the MuleSoft platform and broader ecosystem. This role will be part of the core team of the MuleSoft practice, and you will have the opportunity to be part of a significant growth story.
About You

As a MuleSoft Technical Architect, you will work closely with our clients and internal teams to act as subject matter experts and drive the design of effective and innovative solutions across industries. We seek someone who communicates clearly and confidently, leading technical briefings and business requirements gathering sessions.
Your Key Result Areas
  • Provides technical consultation on various aspects of the product and solutions based on the customer's business requirements
  • Create, manage, and present an actionable BRD/FSD (Blueprint) that aligns a customer's technical business needs to that of the MuleSoft Solutions
  • Responsible for designing/architecting the solution and development part with the help of development for large-scale customers.
Required skills and experience:
  • Hands-on Technical Architecture Experience in MuleSoft FSL and Mobile application
  • Excellent collaboration and leadership skills for this dynamic, rapidly changing global field service implementation project.
  • Designs technology architecture to align with enterprise standards, processes, procedures, and targets.
  • Makes technology choices, supervises the quality and implementation of designs, and develops high-performance architects within the organization.
  • Focus on functional, platform, and integration architecture.
  • Communicates technical solutions and design tradeoffs effectively to business stakeholders.
  • Provides a delivery framework that ensures quality and success
  • Drives Design Authority Board sessions along with multiple stakeholders and brings in processes for smooth execution of Design review and approvals
  • 13 - 15 years of Integration Experience
  • 6 + years experience in MuleSoft as an Architect
  • Previous experience as Developer and Architect APIs/Microservices 6+ years MuleSoft experience
  • Cloud Hub 2.0
  • Expert-level understanding of the MuleSoft product suite, Cloud Hub 2.0, API-led connectivity, API Manager, and MuleSoft Administration.
  • Integration experience with AWS API gateways using MuleSoft.
  • Proven ability to design and optimize business processes and to integrate business processes across disparate systems.
  • Experience in being a go-to person for technical challenges to design and prioritize business requirements and required Capabilities.
  • Experience securing and managing APIs.
  • Set up MuleSoft integration infrastructure and manage integrations.
  • Capable of doing quick POCs, Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills, Strong drive for self-learning and problem-solving, and Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Responsible for delivery and working with teams spread across different time zones.
  • Work with stakeholders (IT and Business) to realize the business requirements and implementation.
Good to have:

Integration experience with VEEVA, ELN, IDC, LLC, Ontology

Knowledge of the Insurance industry in general and

Experience with CICD and Bitbucket

The annual salary for this position is between $170,000 - 185,000, depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
