The Department of the Physical Plant at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania is seeking a Multi-Skilled Plasterer to join the team:

Summary:

Plastering of walls and ceilings throughout the Hospital. Must be skilled at skim coating and applying plaster with minimal sanding to reduce dust. Concrete work as needed.

Accountabilities:

  • Wall and ceiling taping and plastering
  • Concrete work
  • Ceramic floor tile repairs and installation
  • Ties indoor frames to masonry walls and assists with installation of access panels
  • Fire patch penetrations in walls and floors
    Education or Equivalent Experience:

    • High School Diploma or GED (Required)
    • Technical School working on various finishing methods (Preferred)
    • OR 3 years working with a bonafide contractor as a plasterer Journeyman (Preferred)
    • OR 3 years working in healthcare facility (Preferred)
