Duties

  • Through subordinate activity managers, is responsible for the overall management and direction of the Directorate, Morale Welfare and Recreation (DMWR) Support Division at a small/medium garrison.
  • Provides policies and guidance to ensure attainment of the established objectives of the division.
  • Directs and develops finance and accounting operations through various services to include receipt of, distribution of, and accounting for NAF.
  • Reviews and evaluates progress of program plans to determine whether overall objectives are being accomplished economically with reference to budget and manpower.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Core hours 0700- 1700. Hours of operation are subject to change based upon customer demand or programmed activities.


Qualifications

Work Experience directing one or more DMWR Support Management programs for a garrison, or similar civilian community, for at least one year.

Highly Preferred: Possess one (1) year of professional experience as a NAF Support Manager, Financial Manager, or Financial Management Specialist for Army NAF. Possess one (1) year of professional experience planning, executing, and reviewing Army NAF budgets. Possess one (1) year of operational experience using Army NAF DFMWR financial management and record keeping systems to include Rec Trac, SMIRF, and FMBS.

PCS Costs

  • Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs maybe authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move maybe in the Government's interest.

Pay-Band (NF or CY) Allowances and Differentials

  • This is a pay-banded position.
  • Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday).
  • Night differential may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. When authorized, night differential will be paid at the rate of 10% basic rate for hours of non-overtime work performed between 1800-0600.

Incentives and Bonuses

  • Incentives maybe be paid.
  • Recruitment or Relocation incentive bonus in the amount of $10,000.00 maybe authorized.

Non-Foreign Overseas Allowances

  • Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
