The Software Engineer Manager must have the ability to prioritize well, communicate clearly, have a consistent track record of delivery, excellent software engineering, and excellent mentoring skills. HealthMark Group is building the next generation of software for digital health information, including patient engagement and patient records. We focus on reducing the overall administrative burden of healthcare patient data journeys .

PRIMARY ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Managing and leading a software development team
• Developing, and maintaining our new and existing web applications
• Maintaining and enhancing a CI/CD DevOps pipeline
• Be a persistent, creative problem solver
• Develop software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with the product team; studying systems flow, data usage and work processes
• Maintaining an eye towards security, scalability, performance, and maintainability
• Participating in a mostly remote results driven working environment
• Designing intuitive and easy to use user interfaces

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• 8+ years of professional software development experience in a Microsoft stack
  • SQL Server tables and stored procedures
  • C# MVC and APIs
• Experience mentoring young software developers
• Experience building complex web systems that have been successfully delivered to end users
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
• Strong understanding of design and architectural patterns
• Understanding fundamental design principles of a scalable application
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools
• BS/BA in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field
• Results Oriented

ADDITIONAL PREFFERED EXPERIENCE :

• Azure DevOps including YAML
• Html5/Angular
• Healthcare Industry/FHIR
