The role requires Onsite work in Cranston, RI. Candidates must be in or near Cranston because the 2 nd rd interview is onsite.

Client: Working through Peraton to support the Rhode Island DMV

Location: Cranston, RI (1 st two months are 100% onsite, only 3 days onsite afterwards)

Duration: 12 months but can extend

•NET Developer Responsibilities

• Uses expertise to design develop, code, test, and debug software.

• Utilizing Microsoft's .NET infrastructure to create software solutions that meet clients' requirements

• Write clean, scalable code using VB.NET/C# programming languages

• Reformulating existing code to ensure adherence to stipulated guidelines

• Collaborating with coworkers to facilitate the creation of large, complex developments, as required

• Participate in code reviews and requirements analysis

• Remain up to date with the terminology, concepts, and best practices for coding Windows Form apps

• Develop technical interfaces, specifications, and architecture

• Use and adapt existing windows and web applications for apps

• Create and test software

• Develop client displays and user interfaces

• Assist software personnel in handling project-related work and other requirements

.NET Developer Requirements and Skills

• 6+ years of experience in the software industry in Object-Oriented analysis and design, development, testing, and implementation of applications using Microsoft Technologies.

• Advanced proficiency in using Visual Basic .NET, SQL, WCF, Windows Form, Entity Framework

• Experience in working with SQL Server Integration Services(SSIS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)

• Familiarity with the ASP.NET, HTML5/CSS3, Vue.js, React (JS or TypeScript), is a plus

• Familiarity with architectural patterns (e.g., Model-View-Controller (MVC))

• Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC)

• Understanding of Agile methodologies

• Experience with cloud services such as Azure or AWS

• Experience with concurrent development source control (TFS)

• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills

• Strong analytical skills, organization, and coordination skills
