The California Department of Tax and Fee Administration (CDTFA), Technology Services Division (TSD) is seeking a highly knowledgeable and skilled Network Architect to join our fast-paced team. If you are looking for a challenging, yet rewarding next step in your career, TSD is the place for you.

In this role, the successful candidate will act as the lead Network Architect for CDTFA, including all aspects of the enterprise network. In addition, the Network Architect will provide guidance to, mentor other members of the network and information technology teams, delegate responsibilities to other Network Administrators, and monitor network performance. The incumbent will be responsible for all of the work performed by other Network Administrators and should exercise good judgment when delegating responsibilities and tasks. The ideal candidate will be an expert in networking technology, including: switching, routing, load balancing, firewalls, as well as networking concepts, topologies, and technologies.
