Astor & Sanders Corporation (Astor) is an award-winning IT solutions provider headquartered in McLean, VA and is seeking a Network Engineer. This is a full-time position based onsite in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and maintain network hardware and software components including TCP/IP setting, subnets, and routing
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
• Implement and maintain network security measures
• Collaborate with team members to plan and execute network expansion projects
• Provide technical support to clients regarding network issues
• Stay up-to-date with the latest networking technologies and trends
• Additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Network Engineer
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies
• Experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools
• Solid understanding of network security principles
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• At least one professional certification (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) is required
