An employer in the Vandenberg, CA market is looking for a Network Engineer to join their team. This person will be performing troubleshooting of complex networks that were put together over time without much network architecture. This person will need to know IP protocols, identify spans, trunking, make sure networks are configured properly, Cisco networking, and more. This role will sit fully onsite and are flexible with either 5/8s, 4/10s, or 9/80 schedule.

Required Skills & Experience

TS/SCI w/ CI Poly clearance

8+ years of experience as a network engineer with complex network troubleshooting experience

Proficient working knowledge of operating systems, Windows client/server

Experience working in a VMware virtual environment (including Horizon), storage area networks, and MS/SQL Server

Experience and knowledge of trunks IP protocols, identifying spans, etc.

Proficient working knowledge of IP networking, such as network devices including Cisco routers and switches, Cisco firewall, VPN

Security + certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

CCNA/CCNP certified preferred
