Network Engineer

Piper Companies is currently searching for a Network Engineer to work Hybrid in Columbia, MD for a company offering skilled nursing, physical rehabilitation, companion care, respite care, and behavioral care for individuals with chronic and acute illnesses and disabilities. The Network Engineer will manage and support critical network infrastructure.

Responsibilities for the Network Engineer include:
• Configure and administer core routing and switching (EIGRP, OSPF)
• Work with ISPs to troubleshoot and resolve high-level circuit issues
• Administer and configure Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW)
• Manage Cisco Meraki (wireless and switching)
• Design and document network diagrams as needed

Required Qualifications for the Network Engineer include:
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering
• Cisco ACI and ISE administration and configuration experience
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Firewalls
• Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail
• Strong work ethic with the ability to quickly adapt and learn

Compensation for the Network Engineer include:
• Salary Range : $130,000 - $140,000 Depends on level of degree/combined years of experience
