Network Engineer IV

Our high profile client is seeking a Network Engineer with 7+ years of experience for a 9-11 month contract assignment located onsite in Seattle, WA. As a Network Engineer you will support the network troubleshooting of BGP, TCP, CCMP, and TCP IP for this worldwide giant in the eCommerce industry. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in Network Engineering with a strong understanding of networking fundamentals, in depth knowledge of network protocols including BGP and OSPF and experience with Python automation scripting to align well with this organization.

Job Title: Network Engineer

Location: Seattle, WA | Fully Onsite

Pay Range: $72.95/HR on Experis W2

What's the Job?

• Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking equipment.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal uptime and reliability.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline network configuration and management tasks.
• Manage and optimize cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) for enterprise applications.
• Implement cloud services, ensure security best practices, and enhance performance and scalability.

What's Needed?

• Strong expertise with BGP and OSPF routing protocols
• Python automation scripting
• Excellent IP networking fundamentals and extensive experience in the application of IP protocols.
• Should have a minimum of 7+ years industry experience
• In-depth knowledge of and experience with major internet routing protocols; specifically BGP and OSPF
