The network operations engineer provides insight on best practices for high performing teams in the delivery of network-related product operations or projects, ensuring team actions are aligned with projects goals.

**This hyrbrid role (in-office Tues-Wed-Thurs) can be based in either Charlotte, NC, or Wayne, PA**

In this role you will:
  • Provide advanced level process improvement guidance around network services, including installing, configuring, and integrating new network technologies. Conducts pilots, makes recommendations, and ensures network installations meet standards.
  • Provide insight on best practices for high performing teams in the delivery of network-related product or projects, ensuring team actions are aligned with projects goals.
  • Facilitate planning, team learning, and assists adaptation of processes to ensure the quality of team solutions.
  • Provide advanced level network design and debugging services to development teams. Works closely with developers to implement reliable, manageable, and secure solutions for external connections.
  • Provide advanced level telecom network services for complex issues elevated from the Support Center and Technical Services groups. Identifies failing components.
  • Maintain and monitors network system performance and identifies performance issues and trends. Implements improvements and identifies opportunities to automate manual system tasks. Develops and maintains telecom network documentation.
  • Complete network capacity planning activities, including monitoring the network and tracking network capacity metrics. Initiates actions to prevent network degradation caused by capacity issues.
  • Thoroughly understand and complies with Information Technology and Information Security policies and procedures

What it takes:
  • Minimum of five years related work experience. Network experience preferred.
  • Undergraduate degree in a related field or the equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), or Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP) preferred.
