DHL currently has an exciting opportunity available for a Network Planning - Capacity Control Analyst. The Network Planning - Capacity Control Analyst performs analytical work to support the various business needs of the DHL Express Air Network. The Business Analyst prepares, analyzes, and reports data to improve the utilization of the DHL Express Air Network movements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reviews network performance daily to evaluate capacity requirements.
  • Works in conjunction with Network Control, Load Control, Field and Hub operations groups in coordinating, communicating, and executing standard and contingency operations plans and shipment routing. Strong focus on optimization.
  • Develops standard and ad-hoc reports to identify data integrity failures; performs thorough analysis to identify root causes for failure and makes recommendations for solutions.
  • Produces reports for management that draw data from various sources to aid in tracking business unit objectives.
  • Analyzes statistical data and prepares analysis to support the various needs of assigned DHL business units; compiles and summarizes data to present to management as necessary.
  • Develops and follows appropriate processes and procedures for accomplishing work.
  • Works with a cross-functional team of operational stakeholders to accomplish business objectives.
  • Takes part in various departmental projects and processes.
  • May assist in training efforts for assigned DHL business unit.


Skills & Qualifications:

  • Concerned with problems that have a direct and important effect on customers, business programs, and results.
  • State-of-the-art knowledge of technologies, processes, and practices.
  • Typically requires BS/BA in related discipline and 2-5 years experience in related field or MS/MA and generally 1-3 years of experience in related field.
