Apex Systems is looking to hire aProxy Engineerfor one of their reputable financial clients they support.

Job Locations:Charlotte, NC - Chicago, IL - Chandler, AZ

Schedule:Mon-Friday; 3 days ONSITE/2 days remote - HYBRID**

Pay Rate:$62/hr W2

Contract length:6+ months - strong potential for extension

Requirements:
  • 6+ yrs of professional experience with Network or Cyber Security
  • 5+ yrs experience of Bluecoat/Symantec and McAfee
  • 5+ yrs of Proxy Servers and Network security experience; knowledge of firewall policies, web content filtering, and authentication protocols
    Nice to have skills (not required):
  • F5 - SSLO
  • CCNA certification
  • Strong communication

    Day to day consists of submitting requests for the proxy rule changes to move the clients infrastructure from one data center to another, receiving those requests, doing the design work, peer reviewing, and staging while offshore team does the implementation
