Network Security Specialist

Contract Duration: 6 months, renewable
Worksite: Hybrid - downtown Toronto, ON

Our client, a global leading IT company, is looking for a Network Security Specialist.

Skills:

Plan and execute hardware refresh cycles for Cisco IPS, FireEye, Check Point, PAN, and Broadcom technologies.
Conduct thorough pre-refresh assessments to determine hardware end-of-life status and compatibility issues.
Collaborate with IT security teams to ensure that all hardware upgrades meet the latest security standards and compliance requirements.
Perform installation and configuration of hardware devices, including testing and troubleshooting during and after deployment.
Document all hardware refresh activities, including maintaining detailed records of system configurations and changes.
Provide training and support to other IT staff on new hardware features and functionalities; and
Stay informed of new technology trends and updates related to Cisco IPS, FireEye, Check Point, PAN, and Broadcom.
