Network/ System Engineer (Jacksonville, Atlanta)

Experis/ManpowerGroup has partnered with a leading Financial Services organization for a Network/ System Engineer to assist their team.

Job Title: Network/ System Engineer
Location: Hybrid from Jacksonville, FL/ Atlanta, GA
Pay Range: $60 - $65 per hour.
Long term contract on W2.

• Architect is responsible for the design of the infrastructure systems for a portfolio of applications by matching current technology blueprints and standards with the business and application requirements. This includes defining and documenting the hardware, software, infrastructure components, modules, interfaces, scalability, and high availability solutions to meet specified application, business, and company requirements.
• Identify solutions and alternatives for keeping current and optimizing computer resources.
• Investigate and analyse information and to draw conclusions required for design and support of various types of enterprise applications.
• Collect information to analyse and evaluate existing or proposed systems.
• Work as a team member with other technical staff, such as networking to ensure connectivity and compatibility between systems.
• Write and maintain system design drawings and system specific detailed documentation.
• 3rd level support for major incident troubleshooting, analysis, and resolution for a portfolio of applications
• Supporting issues with deployments in the upstream and downstream environments
• Information Technology degree and/or technology certifications preferred or substantial equivalent experience. Typically 7-10 years of enterprise IT experience.
• Minimum of 5 years infrastructure related experience with very strong knowledge of enterprise infrastructure and application integration.
• Minimum of 2 years Enterprise level design experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Networking, Windows/Linux OS, Middleware, DMZ/Firewall, Local and Global load balancing expertise as it relates to midrange systems application integration and design.
• Strong knowledge on Middleware technologies (WebSphere, WebLogic, Tomcat)
• Strong knowledge on CICD tools
