Bellin Health's Psychiatric Hospital is an 80-bed psychiatric hospital that provides inpatient and outpatient services for children, adolescents and adults. For more than 30 years, we have been dedicated to providing the appropriate level of care to individuals suffering from mental and emotional problems. Bellin is the only private, freestanding psychiatric hospital in the community. We offer services on both an inpatient and outpatient basis.

You will be joining a highly respected team within the Psychiatry and Mental Health Well-being service line that receives referrals from Neurology, Psychiatry, Family Medicine, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and other specialties both from within Bellin Health System as well as other outside referral sources.

Job Description:
The ideal candidate will have the ability to use models of brain-behavior relationships to provide neuropsychological services that can be tailored to meet a provider's interests and experience. A portion of time dedicated to outpatient comprehensive evaluations will be expected, but opportunities for inpatient evaluations, treatment, consultation, and program development are available as well.

Patients referred for outpatient neuropsychological evaluation span nearly the full range of possible differential diagnoses, including neurological disease or injury, neurological vs. psychiatric pathology, neurodevelopmental disorders, and capacity evaluations.

Providers are often able to develop strong working relationships with referral sources, as the close-knit culture and efficient size of the Bellin Health system facilitates an inter-departmental team approach to care. The position requires a high level of customer service skills to establish and enhance positive relationships with patients, co-workers, and others.

Qualifications and Requirements:
Doctorate degree (Ph.D. or PsyD.) in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited program and completion of an APA-approved/accredited psychology internship is required.

Current State of Wisconsin Psychologist licensure required, Board Certified or eligible for board certification by the American Board of Clinical Neuropsychology (ABCN) prior to start date.

Experience:
Specialized (post-doctorate) training in clinical neuropsychology and preferred experience with pediatric/adolescent patients presenting with a wide range of neurologic concerns.
