Ellison 14 is currently hiring newly licensed nurses to join our Burns/Plastics team. Ellison 14 is a 20-bed adult patient care unit; 10 of the beds are acute care/ 10 beds are ICU. As a new grad you will start on the acute care unit and take part in our Transition to Practice Program (TPP) which provides the new RN with a solid foundation to become independent and functioning clinicians who deliver safe patient care. TPP is a 12-month long program that utilizes the Vizient/AACN Nurse Residency Program platform and curriculum. The program provides a mix of onsite and virtual learning classes. The Vizient program includes an evidence-based curriculum as well as an evidence-based practice project. It is designed to improve decision-making skills, enhanced clinical nursing leadership practices, and promote the incorporation of research-based evidence into practice. New Graduates who are involved with the Vizient program benefit from access to benchmarking data, an up-to-date curriculum, and the opportunity to network with pers accross the contry.

After you have practiced on the acute care unit for 1-1.5yrs you would be eligible to transition to our ICU and begin a critical care orientation.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts Registered Nurse license
• BSN required

Full-time position- 39 hrs/week. (Rotating 50/50 split between day and night shift with weekend and holiday requirements)
