Nurse Residency Program Overview

Participate\rin the year-long New to Practice Nurse Residency Program based on the Vizient\rModel
Attend\ra series of structured learning and practice experiences designed to assist\rwith transition from new to practice to professional nurse and clinical leader\rat the bedside
Receive promotion to a Clinical Nurse II role\rupon successful completion the program, which results in pay and shift\rdifferential increases

Key Responsibilities
\r
As a Clinical Nurse you will deliver proficient nursing care to patients and families whose needs range from uncomplicated to highly complex. You will identify current and potential complex problems of specific patient populations and critically analyzes trends and changes in patient status and plans appropriate interventions directly or indirectly through other nurses.

Qualifications
\r

\r
• Bachelor's degree In Nursing (BSN) from an accredited Nursing\rprogram preferred and
• If prepared at the\rassociate degree in nursing level, required to enroll in a BSN program within 6\rmonths of hire date and completion within 3 years required.
\r
• Prior work experience not required.
\r
• RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure\rCurrent license as a Registered Nurse in the state or jurisdiction of the\rfacility seeking employment upon hire required and
• CPR -\rCardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation CPR certification required by completion of\rintroductory period (within 30 Days of start) required.
