NNP or Neonatal PA - Provision of neonatal nurse practitioner or Neonatal PA services at the JHACH Level IV NICU. Sign On Bonus for qualified candidates. Relocation available based on distance.

The neonatal nurse practitioner or Neonatal PA is an advanced practice practitioner who demonstrates expertise in the clinical management of the neonate and infant. The practitioner role is multi-faceted and includes clinical management of the high risk neonate and infant, educational responsibilities, administrative duties, consulting, and initiating/implementing research. The neonatal nurse practitioner or PA works in collaboration with medical, nursing and support services to provide family centered care. The neonatal nurse practitioner or PA maintains active participation in his/her own continued education and professional development.

Work Hours: Work Hours: Rotating - Flexible 10 hour day shifts and 16 hr night shifts
Work Location: St. Petersburg, Florida

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Clinical Master's Degree in Nursing or DNP, or Masters in Physician Assistant Studies
• Current Florida State Licensure as an APRN or a PA.
• Current BLS and PALS (NRP in lieu of PALS if NNP).
• Current National Certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or a PA

Requires 1 year of NICU experience as a NNP, NICU RN experience as a new grad. NNP or 1 year of PA experience in a NICU
