NodeJS/React Fullstack Engineer (NY, NJ. CT - REMOTE)

An international law firm spanning across the US/Europe/Asia is looking for two NodeJS/React Fullstack Engineers to join their software engineering team. These two resources will initially help maintain and develop enhancements for a legacy application used by paralegals for document management. Eventually, the role will also entail new development for other projects. The firm is in the Top 50 largest law firms in the world; they focus on corporate, litigation, intellectual property, fund formation, public markets, employment, life sciences (#1 law firm for tech and life sciences IPOs), clean technology, real estate, financial services, retail, regulatory and energy practices. The engineers will be working Fullstack, but we can hire one person more backend focused and one more frontend focused. The tech stack of the legacy application is NodeJS (Express), React (Play Wright) Azure DevOps (they use this to manage their git repository, work items, sprint board etc), Azure, Jest for testing, Docker, etc. We need engineers who can work autonomously with little hand-holding on day to day tasks and who can be proactive in driving development forward as well as interfacing directly with product management and other related stakeholders. This team functions in Agile/Scrum so there will be daily standups.

Compensation: $60/hr to $65/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience
- 8-12+ years of software engineering experience
- preferable to have fullstack experience (NodeJS on backend, React on Frontend)
- Azure Devops, or Azure cloud experience
- Docker
- testing experience (Jest, others)
- ability to develop enhancements as well as greenfield work
- experience with testing
