The minimum hourly pay rate for this position must be: PLEASE NOTE THE SCHEDULEM-F, 6am-2:30pmUC Job Code: 5130Position Summary:Reporting to the Food Services Manager and working within the kitchen, cafeteria, dishroom and/or patient services, the Food Service Worker performs a variety of food service tasks in the areas of meal assembly, service and delivery, dishwashing, sanitation and safety.Essential Job Functions:The identification of essential functions below is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties that may be assigned to this position, nor does it restrict the duties which may be assigned to this position if such duties reasonably relate to the position.Processes priority meal services/late trays and delivers food trays to patients in a timely manner, following established guidelines.Operates, assembles, disassembles, disinfects and cleans equipment and washes pots, pans, dishes and utensils.Assists with timely delivery and set-up of catering events around the organization and breakdown and clean up upon completion of eventsAppropriately performs some food preparation duties while effectively assembling food and beverages on tray line, ensuring smooth flow and correct portion controlMay work as cashier in dining room or off-site locationsMaintains cleanliness of dining room and work area and assists with stocking of cafeteriaComplies with all HACCP rulesRequired Qualifications:Ability to read, write and follow oral and written instructions in EnglishAbility to work variable shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidaysRTO must be on the submittal, No RTO the first two weeks of an assignment Please Note: Once RTO is submitted, this cannot be changed unless it's to cancel time requested - ensure that you have confirmed all dates needed off for the full 13 week contract
