Description and Requirements
The primary function of the Workstation Product Portfolio Manager is to manage the full Lenovo P Series product portfolio in collaboration with inbound (geo) product and industry vertical segment managers to manage product life cycles. You will execute new product introductions, enable sales through ongoing education by way of internal and external events, training, portfolio asset and collateral management, while collaborating and partnering with ISVs. The Workstation Product Portfolio Manager will also present to Channel Partners and Customers in enterprise briefings with the core mission of executing the quarterly and annual business objectives across all sales segments and routes to market. Working alongside the Workstation Business Managers, you will drive Workstation business cross-country in the USA and Canada to accelerate growth and drive execution across all aspects and routes to market - Relationship, SMB, Distribution and Channel Sales. You will report directly to North America Category Leadership and will be working with the workstation product managers (for both Desktop and Mobile Workstations), sales segment business managers, vertical industry managers and marketing managers. Teaming will be essential with the key country and regional NA leadership, as well as centralized marketing, sales operations and finance teams. This role is critical in the ongoing success to Lenovo's mission as the preferred professional workstation solution provider in the market. Lenovo is seeking a candidate who can put technology into combination with market and industry knowledge and then understand how Lenovo will influence trends, bring to market Smarter Technologies for All and adapt to changes within the local market continuously.

Position Responsibilities:
- Deliver and Define workstation technical go-to-market strategy
- Influence the overall Lenovo NA Workstation strategy
- Build, collaborate, implement, track and follow this overall strategy
- Develop product positioning strategies aided by marketing plans to achieve business objectives
- Deliver future requirements to the WW Workstation Business Unit based on opportunities informed by customer feedback and market trends
- Drive the overall ThinkStation, ThinkPad P Series and ThinkVision P Series portfolio
- Assist the P Series product managers in managing their portfolios through effective positioning and life cycle management
- Teach P Series product management discipline to Jr. product managers
- Assist in the creation of competitive P Series Topseller portfolio for the channel reseller community
- Drive NA Workstation product and solution requirements into the WW Workstation Business Unit
- Ensure competitive pricing through PFV analysis
- Ensure differentiated positioning through competitive product analysis
- Support Lenovo's overall mission of improving the customer experience with P Series professional workstations and Smarter Technology for All
- Educate Lenovo sellers and Channel Partners on the P Series Workstation product line
- Help the Lenovo sellers and Channel Partners close deals through strategic customer and partner engagements and/or formal P Series Workstation customer briefings
- Participate in customer advisory councils to capture and enable the voice of the customer
- Analyze and respond to the market
- Analyze the overall Workstation market through heatmap and quarterly campaign activities
- Analyze external market verticals and end user segments to define opportunities for Lenovo to grow the WS Category and market share
- Influence quarterly campaign initiatives based on ongoing market analysis
Basic Qualifications:
