Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is seeking an experienced Acquisition Program Analyst to support OSD oversight of the Nuclear Triad sustainment and modernization, with a primary focus on the Long-Range Stand-Off (LRSO) weapon portfolio, supporting the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense (DASD) for Strategic/Space/Intelligence Portfolio Management (SSIPM) in the Strategic Deterrence and Capabilities (SDC) Directorate. Will develop decision-ready material for senior leaders and apply the initiative to navigate headquarters and acquisition processes to support the DASD portfolio management responsibilities. The Acquisition Program Analyst will support portfolio management and oversight of systems through development, production, and fielding to the warfighter. This position will be in Washington, DC at the Pentagon.

Responsibilities:
As an Acquisition Program Analyst with MTSI you will provide support to the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense (DASD) within the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment (OUSD(A&S)). This position will be in Washington, DC at the Pentagon. This position will be located in Arlington, VA at the Pentagon.
Your essential job functions will include but will not be limited to:
- Provide acquisition oversight and review of JCIDS requirements documents focused on Strategic systems.
- Support USD(A&S) in his role as chair of Defense Acquisition Boards (DABs).
- Supports SSIPM acquisition oversight and portfolio management activity including working groups and integrated product teams.
- Develops issue papers and presentations for senior department executives.
- Reviews and drafts congressional testimony, briefings, and reports.
- Reviews acquisition documents, policy, and briefings
- Provides staff support to subject matter working groups.
- Prepares read-a heads, talking points, supports program reviews, and develops recommendations.
- Interface with Services and OSD Agencies
- Participate in reviews, studies, analysis of alternatives, and coordinate initiatives across external offices and agencies.
- 5+ years of experience with the Defense Acquisition System
- 5+ years of experience with nuclear weapons and weapon systems at the operational or programmatic level.
- Willingness for occasional travel (may be required (less than 10%))
- Experience as a DoD Program Manager/Deputy Program Manager
- Experience supporting the LRSO or ALCM programs.
- OSD, Joint Staff, and/or Service Staff experience.
- Knowledge of the OUSD(A&S) organization, roles, and responsibilities.
- Bachelor's Degree in a technical field, or a higher level of education.
- DAWIA Level II or higher certification(s).
- TS clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Special Access Program eligibility (Desired)
- U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
