Responsibilities
- Prepare, measure, and administer radiopharmaceuticals for use in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- May provide clerical support for assigned department to include but not limited to scheduling appointments, record keeping and answering phones.
- Perform quality control and maintains equipment and reports areas of concern to appropriate manager.
- Adhere to policies, procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
- Maintain credentials and/or licensures.
- Participate and attend departmental meetings.
- Take ownership of assignments; other duties as assigned or requested.
- Communicate and listen effectively with internal and external customers; effectively understand instructions and shares knowledge.
- Cooperate and interact with supervisors, peers, other departments, and all customer groups demonstrating our commitment to "service".
Qualifications
Job Requirements
- Graduate of an Accredited Nuclear Medicine Program.
- ARRT(N), or NMTCB, or ASCP(N)
- Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certificate issued by State of NM
- CPR Certified
Preferred Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Two (2) years of related experience of which one (1) year was a clinical internship
