Avalon Care Center in Federal Way is looking for qualified candidates who have an active NAR, completed CNA courses, and clinical to join our team as a Nursing Assistant. Work as a Nursing Assistant while you wait for your CNA license to become active.

Wage: $21.02 /hr

**Must receive CNA license within 120 days of hire.**

The Non-Certified Nurse Assistants will perform direct resident care duties under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel and will assist with promoting a compassionate physical and psychosocial environment for the residents.

Responsibilities

The Nurse Assistants will perform direct resident care duties under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel and will assist with promoting a compassionate physical and psychosocial environment for the residents. The expectation is to complete your certification soon to continue to work for us as Certified Nursing Assistants.

Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must have active Nurse Assistant Registration (NAR), CNA courses completed and clinicals completed.
  • Must obtain the Certified Nurse Assistant certification. Once certified, the title will change to Certified Nurse Assistant and employee must maintain a current certification in the state throughout employment.
  • Must have ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job.
  • Must be able to relate positively and favorably to residents and families and to work cooperatively with co-workers and supervisors.
  • Must be willing to assist others, including co-workers.
  • Recent clinical experience or education is preferred.
  • Must pass criminal background investigation, reference inquiry, and vaccine mandate attestation requirements of either having been vaccinated or present documentation needed for a medical or religious exemption.
