PRN Nurse Extern

The Nurse Extern, under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, provides direct patient care to patients from birth through the lifecycle. This care includes utilizing treatments, procedures and equipment appropriate to the pre-licensure nurse in the clinical setting per hospital policy.

This role will require working a minimum of three, variable, 12-hour shifts (7am-7:30pm and/or 7pm-7:30am) per 6 week schedule, including variable weekend shifts and holidays as assigned.

Qualifications:

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:

• Currently enrolled in and progressing through an accredited nursing program
• Has successfully completed the first Medical/Surgical clinical rotation in an accredited nursing program

MINIMUM CERTIFICATION:

• BLS CPR certification
