Job Requirements:

• 2+ years of management experience
• Extensive knowledge and experience in Labor and Delivery or in the NICU
• BSN required, MSN preferred
• Active BLS

Job Description:

• Responsible for organizing and managing the patient care delivery and team members on a specific patient care unit for the total numbers of hours that the unit is operational.
• Responsible for leading daily operations of a specific unit including the human, physical environment, supplies, resources, and services to ensure efficient quality patient experience and care in collaboration with the Director.
• Provides any special skills/knowledge base related to the patient mix of the unit/special functions of the unit.
• Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his/her assigned unit or within his/her department including knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span. 80% managerial / 20% clinical (may vary depending on span of control and number of CC/unit managers)

Other Information:

• Schedule: Monday - Friday 8 hour shifts (will vary based on schedule); open to 4 10s during certain times of the year
• Pay: 90,500 - 152,443
