The role you'll contribute:

Lead a 24-bed telemetry and epilepsy monitoring unit providing continuous monitoring for patients with a variety of acute medical conditions. We are a magnet designated, chest pain accredited, and comprehensive stroke center with a dynamic team and growth mindset. We provide highly specialized cardiac and neurological care to the region.

Responsible for the management of clinical nursing practices and patient care delivery on the assigned unit(s). Role functions include management of human, fiscal, material, support and systems resources while achieving and maintaining the goals of a unit or department by focusing on the unit or department's daily operations. Demonstrates a high level of integrity, willingness to take on new challenges and prioritizes associate engagement. Consistently promotes a positive work environment by being visible and available to all levels of staff and customers. Supports associate development needs with an emphasis on evidence-based practice and education.

  • Conduct on evaluation of productivity and collaborate with finance to forecast revenue and expenses to prepare and manage the unit/department's budget.
  • Ensure appropriate staffing plan matching competency with patient acuity.
  • Focus on patient safety, patient experience, and performance improvement in alignment with unit/department goals Involve associates in decision through shared governance structure.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with associates, physicians, and patients.


Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:
  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Bachelor of Science in nursing (BSN)
  • BSN or MSN required. Current incumbents must achieve by July 1, 2024
  • 3 years RN experience required.
  • 1 year clinical leadership experience required
