Acts as the operational head of a clinic or multiple clinics in the Ambulatory setting. The Nurse Manager - Ambulatory has 24/7 responsibility for overseeing clinical care of patient cases. Nurse Managers oversee work of registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, certified medical assistants and patient care technicians and provide leadership, education/training, and direct assistance on cases, as needed. Develops operational plans in alignment with the Hospital and Nursing Division mission, vision, values, and goals.

Position Requirements

-ADN upon hire, with MSN obtained within 3 years -ADN upon hire, with BSN and MHA or MBA obtained within 3 years -BSN upon hire, with MSN, MHA, or MBA obtained within 3 years -MSN 5 year(s) or more of experience in clinical nursing (2-3 years) and management (1 year). Current Registered Nursing License (Georgia) or qualifying multi-state compact license. Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS).
