The Nurse Manager of Med/Surg will plan, direct and supervise nursing practice on the Med/Surg unit utilizing evidence based practices in the nursing process. Accountable and responsible for unit and unit management, fiscal, clinical, quality and customer service focus. Attain and maintain clinical practice competency in particular practice areas; utilize effective and appropriate communication and interpersonal skills; maximize educational opportunities of the unit with Staff Development and participate in required Nursing Administrative responsibilities.

Current NYS RN license and three (3) to five (5) years of related Med/Surg experience. Bachelor's Degree required. Demonstrated leadership abilities. Three (3) years supervisory experience preferred.

$95,000 - $115,000 annual salary based on experience.
