Executive Recruiting Network is looking for a Nurse Practitioner at a healthcare facility located in Queens, NY

Pay Rate: $80.00-90.00 per hour.

Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and treat both adults and pediatric patients
  • Conduct Federal Department of Transportation Medical Exams
  • Collect, record, and maintain patient information, such as medical history, reports, and examination results.
  • Complete patient visit/encounter documentation in a timely fashion
  • Direct activities of Medical Assistants, X-Ray Technologist, and other medical staff during assigned shifts
  • Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients.
  • Monitor patients' conditions/progress and reevaluate treatments as necessary.
  • Simple laceration repairs and manage/treat fractures by evaluating X-rays and applying splints
  • Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic exams and imaging.
  • Analyze records, reports, and examination information to diagnose and treat patient conditions.
  • Prescribe or administer treatments, medications, vaccinations, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury.
  • Refer patients to the Emergency Department or other practitioners when necessary.

Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner Program
  • Currently hold/maintain a license to practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner in the State of New York.
  • Minimum of two (2) Years of post-licensure practice in an Urgent Care or Family Practice
