NURSE PRACTITIONER, NEUROLOGY (FT; 5 days/wk) - Temple Faculty Practice

Temple neurologists provide specialized treatment for diseases, injuries and conditions that affect the brain, spine, nerves and muscles. We provide comprehensive care for everything from headaches to stroke to Alzheimer's and Parkinson's diseases at several locations in the region.

Temple's regionally recognized neurologists combine expertise with the latest technology to diagnose even the most complex conditions that can develop in the intricate network of the brain, spine and nerves.

We've combined some of the Philadelphia area's top neurologists, the latest treatments and cutting-edge clinical trials to provide comprehensive neurological care. Our state-of-the-art facilities make getting the advanced care you need and want easier and more convenient, with the complete range of neurological services available at each location. Specialty programs for conditions such as epilepsy , stroke and ALS bring together the specialists and care you need in one place.

Our neurospecialists are dedicated to improving lives, one patient at a time. That means neurologists, neurosurgeons and interventional neuroradiologists work together and are focused on providing compassionate, individualized care based on your needs. Our Neurology team extends past Temple University Hospital to also cover the Temple Neurosciences Center at Jeanes Hospital & Temple Health Fort Washington.

Education

Bachelors Degree : in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing. (Required)

Masters Degree : in Nursing from an accredited Nursing program. (Required)

Experience

2 Years experience as a nurse practitioner (Preferred)

1 Year experience in a clinical specialty practice (Preferred)

1 year outpatient/ambulatory experience (Preferred)

Experience in an EPIC environment (Preferred)

License/Certifications

CRNP - PA Cert Reg Nurse Practitioner (Required)

RN-LIC - PA Registered Nurse License (Required)

PRX-AUTH - Prescriptive Authority (Preferred)

BLS - Basic Life Support (Required)
