Position Highlights
- Lead, guide and direct the nursing center department heads who are direct reports.
- Promote and represent the nursing center in the community to ensure favorable public relations.
- Create an environment where employees are highly engaged, abide by the facility's core values, and are focused on providing the highest level of care and compassion to patients/residents.
- Ensure regulatory and policy compliance within the nursing center.
Please have the following requirements:
- Must possess a current, unencumbered Nursing Home Administrator's license or meet the licensure requirements of NJ.
- A Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Public Health Administration, Business Administration, or health-related field
- Experience in a managerial or administrator capacity in a hospital or nursing Center required
- Strong communication skills and ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public
- Knowledgeable of reimbursement regulations and nursing practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to nursing Center administration
- Strong ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, procedures, etc., that are necessary for providing quality care and maintaining a sound operation
