Job Duties
Develops, implements and inputs monthly nursing staff schedules. Generates and revises 3 shifts to meet Master Staffing Plan. Implements the Master Staffing Plan to meet patient acuity needs. Coordinates and communicates data regarding utilization and productivity of nursing staff. A successful candidate should be able to demonstrate effective resource utilization, operational/admin documentation, and a willingness to attend professional workshops and keep up with continued education as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge of timekeeping and time scheduling of nursing staff. Demonstrate ability to utilize computerized scheduling equipment and basic record keeping. Demonstrate ability to allocate staff according to patient acuity.
Additional Considerations
Previous experience as a Nurse Scheduler, or work in a Hospital setting is preferred.
