What You Will Do
  • Prepares infant formulas/tube feedings and special supplements
  • Knowledge of infant formula and milk rooms

  • Maintain proper confidentiality and security of all information and data used in the scope of the position

  • Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.


Qualifications:
Education
  • High School Equivalent / GED (Required) and
  • Associate's Degree in nutrition (Preferred)
Work Experience
  • 2+ years working in a hospital diet office or in a medical field (Required)
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • Communicate effectively both verbal & written (Required proficiency)
  • Demonstrate effective clinical customer service experience (Required proficiency)
  • Understands & calculates weights, measures accurately & exhibits strong basic mathematical skills, basic computer, email & EMR skills (Required proficiency)
  • Ability to use a calculator, gram scale, bar scanner, hand blender, dishwasher & graduated cylinders (Required proficiency)
