Oakville- Head Baseball Coach

Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to serve as the Head Baseball Coach at Oakville Middle/High School. This is a seasonal position that requires a strong commitment to developing student-athletes both on and off the field. The successful candidate will have a passion for baseball and a desire to lead a successful program.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive baseball program that focuses on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship
- Plan and conduct daily practices, games, and team meetings
- Evaluate and select players for the team
- Work collaboratively with the athletic department, school administration, and booster club to ensure a successful program
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with student-athletes, parents, and community members
- Ensure compliance with all school and district policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate records and submit required reports in a timely manner
- Attend all required meetings and professional development opportunities

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of coaching experience at the high school level
- Knowledge of the rules and strategies of baseball
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire student-athletes
- Commitment to student-athlete development both on and off the field
- Ability to work collaboratively with others
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends as required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
