The role you'll contribute:

A clinically competent surgical tech that works under the supervision of the registered nurse in delivering safe and effective care to the patient during the C-sections. Assists surgeons in a manner as to make procedures smooth flowing. Strictly adheres to aseptic technique. Effectively interacts with patients and health care team members.

The value you'll bring to the team:

• Competently functions as scrub technician during C-Sections.
• Participates with the professional nurse in planning for and preparing for surgical procedures in the assigned areas.
• Observes and reports to the professional nurse pertinent observations, sterile technique, the patient's physical condition and doctors' needs.
• Assists in providing a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients.
• Prepares and maintains patients' medical records from admission through discharge to facilitate organization, completeness and accuracy of the records system for the unit.

Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed :

• Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
• BLS - condition of employment
